**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Operate Sawing Equipment: Efficiently operate various types of saws (table saws, panel saws, beam saws, band saws, etc.) to cut wood and other materials according to detailed specifications.
- Material Preparation: Measure, mark, and arrange materials for cutting, while ensuring accuracy and adherence to design plans,
- Quality Control: Inspect cut materials for defects and ensure all pieces meet quality standards before moving to the next stage of production.
- Design Interpretation: Read and interpret design drawings and design specifications to determine cutting requirements.
- Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of saws and other woodworking machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe operation of machinery.
- Collaboration: Work closely with designers, carpenters, and other team members to ensure seamless workflow and timely project completion.

**Qualifications**:
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a sawyer or in a similar woodworking role.

Skills: Proficient in operating saws and other woodworking machinery, with excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail

Knowledge: Understanding of woodworking techniques, materials and tools, including the ability to read and interpret design plans.

Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, stand, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods of time.

Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem -solving skills to identify and resolve issues during material selection and production processing.

Team Player: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
