seeking a Claims Adjuster with a passion for the personal touch Under the direction of the Claims
Manager, the Claims Adjuster is responsible for the investigation and adjudication of property and
casualty claims, providing exceptional claims service while fostering meaningful connections with our
service excellence and knowledge in a meaningful way.

**How You Will Make a Difference**

Leverage your experience and investigative skills to evaluate claims, determine coverage,
damages, and liability under a variety of policies

Support policyholders during the claims process acting as the primary point of coverage,
providing clear explanation of the claims process and coverage and liaising with other parties

appropriate settlement amounts

Use your knowledge of claims settlements, policy wording and fraud to analyze policy
conditions, provisions, exclusions, and endorsements pertinent to a variety of physical
damage losses

Monitor and seek to control damages through proper usage of cost containment tools

**Your Path to Success**
University / college degree or diploma or equivalent industry experience
Certified Chartered Insurance Professional designation, or in progress
Minimum 1 year experience in the Ontario P&C marketplace, or equivalent experience in a

professional work environment
Strong organizational, decision making and communication skills
Ability to build rapport and develop long-term professional relationships
Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
