Cook & kitchen helper extraordinare

The Dream Café is looking for kitchen helpers. Since reopening after covid a year ago business has been booming and our food program has really taken off.We are looking for part time helpers to keep up the momentum.

We are open show nights only for dinner service, which can range from generally 3 or 4 nights a week to the occasional busy week which we may do 5.

Responsibilities include:
Assisting the chef on the line for dinner service. Garnishing meals, assembling appetizers and working the pass.

Helping with evening closing procedures, closing a small section and doing the dishes.

Assisting with food preparation jobs to ensure a smooth dinner service.

Start times are negotiable depending on your other worldy responsibilities and finishing time is usually between 930pm and 10pm for a busier night.

You will be working directly with the chef making this is a small team environment which means a great attitude and willingness to learn will go a long way.

We pride ourself on making as much of our food as humanly possible in our modest kitchen setting. We also offer free tickets to shows when you are not scheduled, which is a unique perk of the job

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
