A General Surgery opportunity is available in beautiful Port Alberni based at the West Coast General Hospital with two other General Surgeons.

West Coast General Hospital, constructed in 2001 is a modern facility with 43 acute care beds and a 3-bed ICU.

Services include 24-hour emergency room, ambulatory care, acute medical/surgical and psychiatry services, cardio pulmonary, diabetes education, laboratory, medical imaging, nutrition counseling, pharmacy and physiotherapy services.

Clinical specialists include anesthesiology, general surgery, urology, obstetrics/gynecology, internal medicine, pediatrics and radiology.

May be eligible for additional remuneration in accordance with the Rural Subsidy agreement including: $10,000 Recruitment Incentive - 7.98% FFS Premium - $12,110.22 Annual Flat Fee Retention Payment - Annual Rural CME - $3000 3-4 years, $6000 more than 4 years
