Job title: Crew Supervisor

Reports to:
The Crew Supervisor will report to Operations Coordinator

Wage: $17.00-$24.00/hr. ($35,360 - $49,920/year)

Duties of the position:
Operation no more Snow is a social enterprise. Its main purpose is to offer youth in care and former youth in care an opportunity in the work force. Currently there is two supervisors who work with youth directly to complete property maintenance.
- Perform routine lawn care tasks including mowing, trimming, blowing, raking, etc.
- Maintain landscaping features such as flower beds, shrubs, etc.
- Carry out snow removal tasks during winter months (shoveling, plowing)
- Ensure tasks given by Coordinator are completed in a timely manner and quality work is performed
- Coordinate and ensure all spring and fall clean ups are done effectively.
- Ensure daily pre and post vehicle inspections are done (including gas top up, oil changes, etc.)
- Inspect and maintain lawn care and snow removal equipment daily
- Track hours that are worked by the laborer on your shift using appropriate documents
- Ensure yourself and the laborer is staying on task and is working in a professional manner
- Keeping a professional relationship with customers
- Enforce all health and safety rules and regulations according to laws and company standards
- Oversee, post, and engage Operation No More Snow social media
- Collaborate with team members to complete seasonal projects efficiently

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience with 4 season property maintenance
- Must have valid class 5 driver’s license
- Highschool diploma or GED
- First aid CPR

Skills Required
- Strength based and relationship focused
- Ability to lead and role model for youth/young adults working alongside you
- Knowledge of lawn care techniques and best practices
- Understanding of budgeting and performance management
- Excellent planning/organization and leadership abilities
- Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions
- Knowledgeable with Microsoft Office (word/excel)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create growth of current customer base

Pay: $17.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
