**Structural Plate Fitter**
**365 Industrial Solutions** is a busy custom/structural steel fabrication shop that is looking for an EXPERIENCED fitter available for day shifts. These are not entry level positions and require a **minimum 5 years of fitting experience**. Must be able to work independently with little supervision, able to read detailed shop drawings is a must. CWB welding tickets using GMAW, FCAW and MCAW would be an asset. We offer a competitive rate with an excellent benefits package and RRSP match plan. These are full time permanent positions.
**Duties and responsibilities**:
- Assemble and fit plates and sections to form structures
- Lays out, positions, and secures parts and assemblies according to specifications, using straightedge, combination square, calipers, and tape-measure.
- Read and interpret blueprints
- Weld or bolt sections together
- Set up and operate heavy-duty metal-working machines
- Install fabricated components in final product
- Rig, hoist and move materials to storage areas or within worksite
**Skills/Qualifications**:
- Recognized Journeyman Ticket or Equivalent Experience
- Believe in Safe Working Culture
- 3-5 years of fitting experience in Structural Steel Fabrication and Misc. Metals
- Ability to read drawings and engineering sketches
- Team player with a professional attitude.
