Business Analyst Banking

Job Description
- 8+ years of strong Business Analysis experience in a Capital Markets, Regulatory Reporting, and/or Finance/Risk background
- 5+ projects in Capital Markets, Regulatory Reporting, and/or Finance/Risk/ Cash Management/ Transaction banking domain
- Experience in systems implementation, process improvements or systems re-engineering projects
- Intermediate to advanced SQL Experience with the ability to retrieve and analyze data.
- Ability to articulate issues around Big Complex datasets and propose solutions to remedy issues
- Motivated self-starter who has natural curiosity. Collaborative Problem Solver.
- Strong analytical/problem solving skills and attention to detail
- Self-motivated and pro-active with proven ability to work accurately and under pressure to meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills - Ability to summarize and explain clearly large and complex information to a wide range of audiences (Finance, Finance IT and Business Stakeholders)
- Experience working with Jira, Confluence, MS Office
- Consulting experience with an established business or technology consulting firm
- Ability to interpret Regulatory Regulations into development requirements/specifications as required for report development.
- Ability to lead the translation of Finance’s regulatory requirements into data sourcing requirements/specifications as required for report development.
