**Position Summary**:
Support Staff Full-time New Position

(First consideration for Support Staff and Academic positions will be given to internal applicants in accordance with the respective Collective Agreements)

A valid G driver's licence in good standing and a valid passport are required for travel between campuses and off-site locations as needed throughout North America and internationally.

**Responsibilities**:

- Coordinates the delivery of Jill of All Trades events at host institutions, ensuring the operational plan, inventory, data collection and event logistics are adhered to as per the Jill of All Trades Trademark agreement
- Builds and maintains professional relationships with internal and external partners, including vendors, sponsors, media design service organizations, digital media organizations, website hosts and host institutions
- Reports updates and data at the Jill of All Trades steering committee meetings and Regional Planning team #7
- Leads, develops and creates any Jill of All Trades workshops or presentations as required
- Supervises support staff of internal and external partners
- Provides event direction to host institutions ensuring confidentiality, professionalism and quality customer service standards are maintained while working with internal and external partners
- Ensures that sufficient event operational materials are received by external partners based on event budget, college design team timelines and ordering processes
- Provides a workback schedule customized to each institution’s local needs
- Leads and creates continuous improvement initiatives within the scope of Jill of All Trades, by updating the operational plan, communicating any changes to host institution partners and providing ideas for additional supporting events and assisting with those logistics
- Schedules formal post-event follow-up meetings with host institutions including Conestoga’s Jill of All Trades team
- Organizes and operationalizes the Conestoga’s Jill of All Trades event, including liaising across college departments to support the delivery of our college event
- Participates in college open houses, college fairs and other initiatives to support the awareness of Jill of All Trades
- Leads the Jill of All Trades event digital media platforms on behalf of multiple host institutions, ensuring up-to-date information and promotion are in order
- Liaisons with our external media companies to determine postings, updates and content on behalf of all host institutions and sponsors, incorporating new trends and ideas
- Updates content, maintains multiple media platforms and a photo bank of Jill of All Trades events
- Reports Jill of All Trades data and feedback on a semi-annual basis or as required for use with stewardship and impact reporting
- In collaboration with administration, develops, reviews and maintains the Conestoga College budgets for Jill of All Trades inventory and travel through the college financial system (PA1)
- Creates monthly reports, purchase orders, blanket purchase requisitions and breakdown of expenditures and invoicing
- Liaises with finance and purchasing departments where necessary

**Qualifications**:

- Three-year diploma or degree in business, social science or a related discipline is required
- Minimum five years of experience managing events and coordinating with both internal and external partners is required, preferably in a post-secondary institution
- Demonstrated ability to successfully manage and execute multiple events simultaneously across various locations
- Excellent knowledge of digital media platforms and content creation
- Ability to confidently handle sensitive information with tact and diplomacy when working with internal and external partners
- Knowledge of current educational trends and challenges facing post-secondary institutions across North America
- Proven ability to set objectives, establish priorities, develop plans and meet deadlines
- Strong organizational and project management skills with an understanding of post-secondary event delivery
- Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal and team-building skills
- Anticipates problems, adapts to changes and uses resources effectively
- A valid G driver's licence in good standing and a valid passport is required
