**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Duties include:

- Instructing and leading labs and/or tutorials, and marking exams and assignments
- Proctoring in-lab quizzes and tests
- Aiding with lab set up and tear down as required
- Other duties as assigned by the course instructor or laboratory coordinator

The successful applicants will be required to participate on a weekly basis for their scheduled laboratory duties for the duration of the fall and/or winter semesters.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
Applicants must:

- Be a UPEI graduate student in good standing
- Have completed a Bachelor of Science in Biology or a similar program that required a course with a laboratory component that is equivalent to the lab they want to instruct
- Have good communication skills
- Be WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System) trained or be willing to take the training
