**Overview**

**Duties**
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers and assisting them with their shopping needs
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, handling cash transactions and processing payments accurately
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase new items and encourage sales
- Maintain merchandising standards by organizing products on shelves and ensuring displays are appealing
- Assist in inventory management, including restocking shelves and monitoring product expiration dates
- Utilize basic math skills for cash handling and ensuring accurate transactions
- Upsell products to enhance customer experience and increase sales
- Exhibit strong organizational skills to keep the store tidy and well-stocked
- Manage time effectively to complete tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Demonstrate phone etiquette when answering customer inquiries or taking orders over the phone

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in retail sales or grocery environments is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English; multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus especially Italian
- Strong organizational skills to maintain an orderly work area
- Ability to engage with customers positively and professionally, demonstrating effective communication skills
