**The Position**

**What You Bring**

You are an energetic, values-driven individual who has obtained a post-secondary certificate or degree in HR, Labour Relations, or a related program, with a minimum of three (3) years of directly related experience. Experience in areas such as: classification / job evaluation rating systems, organizational design, and labour relations is required. An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered.

You will bring with you a strong understanding of various classification / job evaluation systems, organizational design, labour relations, and interpretation of collective agreements. Preference will be given to applicants with knowledge and experience with classification-related grievance processes. You have a demonstrated ability to interpret and translate technical information into easy-to-understand concepts. You have exceptional analytical skills with the ability to research, collect and analyze classification data to assist in recommending, developing, and enhancing classification programs, policies and processes. You are adaptable with the ability to prioritize and multitask while effectively working independently and in collaboration with others in a fast-paced environment. You have a thorough understanding of and commitment to trade union philosophy and public healthcare. You can manage your time effectively and are able to occasionally work outside of regular business hours with the ability to travel throughout Alberta, as required. You possess a valid driver’s license and have access to a vehicle.
