**About the role**

The Milking Team Supervisor is responsible for leading and coordinating dairy staff to ensure smooth, efficient, and safe daily operations. This role emphasizes staff management, scheduling, training, and performance oversight while maintaining high standards in milk production, animal care, and workplace safety.

**What you’ll be doing**
- Supervising daily dairy operations including milking, feeding, cleaning, and general farm tasks.
- Creating and maintaining staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage.
- Providing training, coaching, and mentorship to team members.
- Monitoring performance and assisting with reviews and feedback.
- Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning.
- Upholding company policies, animal welfare standards, and health & safety regulations.
- Acting as the main point of contact for staff concerns and escalating issues to management when needed.

**What we’re looking for**
- Previous leadership experience in dairy farming or agricultural operations.
- Basic knowledge of dairy operations and animal care.
- Physical capability to assist with hands-on tasks when required.
- Strong leadership and people-management abilities.
- Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills.
- Strong organizational skills for scheduling and operational planning.
