Maintenance Technician

Greenhouse maintenance worker required.

General job responsibilities:

- Performing general greenhouse maintenance - may include: working with heating, cooling, irrigation, ventilation, curtains, pumps, motors, frequency drives, boilers, valves
- Replacement of greenhouse glass and poly.
- Installation or replacement of machinery, equipment, parts
- General knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing is an asset
- Daily inspections and maintaining equipment logs
- Inventory control of maintenance department
- Operate Small to Medium Sized Equipment (i.e Tractor, Zoom Boom, Scissor Lift, etc )
- Use of hand or power tools
- Prolonged walking, standing, bending, stooping, and reaching.
- Able to work in warm, humid environment
- Able to work at heights
- Must be able to lift and carry 50lbs
- Work unsupervised
- Communicate with management
- Complete assessments of repairs or facility approvements, determining required parts and contractors

**Requirements**:

- Driver’s license
- Criminal record check

Wage to depending on skill and experience

This is an onsite position in Strathroy, Ontario

**Salary**: $20.00-$27.50 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:
