This exceptional building utilizes the newest technology and a dedicated team of professionals, we are setting the bar for service delivery in Nova Scotia. We are presently seeking a full-time seasonal **Skipper** to join our team this season.

Skippers will be expected to safely operate and dock a 36-foot sailboat, Little Wing II, and a 24-foot motorboat, Reach.

**Job Duties**:

- Safely operate and dock a 36-foot sailboat, Little Wing II, and a 24-foot motorboat, Reach.
- Safely transport guests and residents on each vessel.
- Operate the vessels in accordance with all Transport Canada and company policies and procedures.
- Provide effective and professional communication and service with guests and other colleagues.
- Proactively identify any safety hazards and escalate for corrective action.
- Conduct basic maintenance including cleaning.

**Your job qualifications for the position will include**:
1. To operate Little Wing II & Reach
- SVOP
- Med A3
- Marine First Aid
- Restricted Operator’s Certificate (ROC-M)

**Your experience and skills include**:

- Familiarity with local area and attractions
- Availability for the full Skipper season
- High School Education
- Outgoing, enthusiastic and personable
- Patience, discretion, confidentiality and courtesy essential
- Excellent communication abilities - with English as mandatory and a relevant second language an asset

**Shifts**: Vary in their start and end time and can change due to the needs of our guests and weather. A mixture of days, evenings, holidays and weekend shifts.
