CanCap Group Inc. is part of privately-owned Canadian national financial services company with multiple verticals across automotive, consumer, and merchant lending portfolios. We manage the entire lifecycle of the finance receivable from credit adjudication through to contract administration, customer
service, default management and post charge-off recoveries. CanCap Group Inc. works with Automobile Dealer Partners to help clients finance the purchase of new and used vehicles.

**What your day and week could look like**
A Collections Specialist plays an essential role in supporting customers through the repayment lifecycle of their financing account(s). This includes:
- Ongoing stewardship of a dedicated segment of customer accounts.
- Achieving a high-volume of communication and attempted communication over a combination of inbound and outbound telephone calls.
- Assisting customers with mid-term changes to their accounts.
- Maintaining accurate records of communication and contact information.
- Facilitating win/win outcomes for customers who have become past-due.
- Resolving product, service and repayment issues by clarifying, investigating, explaining, documenting and following-up on actions taken.
**What you bring**:
- Three (3) years customer service experience (any industry). Collections experience in consumer lending environment (banking/financial services/auto lending) an asset.
- Satisfaction in achieving a high degree of accuracy within a fast-paced environment
- Ability to juggle competing priorities with a sense of urgency
- Motivation and drive towards continuous learning and growth within your role and the company
- Dependability and self-motivation
- Proficiency with lending software and Microsoft tools - Intermediate to advanced user experience with Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Upbeat and results-oriented team contributions
- Confidence at problem solving, negotiating, and common-sense decision making
- Analysis and logic with the ability to weigh risks
- Creative thinking “outside the box” to solve problems
- Outstanding ability to build rapport over the telephone and multimedia channels.
- Commitment to providing ‘Raving Fan’ customer service.

Additional Information
- Hybrid work schedule - two days per week in-office at our Mississauga location.
- To be considered for employment you will need to successfully pass a criminal background check, and validation of your work experience.
