Forklift Operator/warehouse Worker

**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Operate forklifts, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks to load and unload materials safely and efficiently.
- Perform order picking tasks using RF scanners to ensure accurate inventory management.
- Assist in shipping and receiving operations, ensuring all products are handled according to company standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to OSHA regulations.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any mechanical issues.
- Engage in heavy lifting as required, handling materials up to specified weight limits.
- Participate in training programs for heavy equipment operation and warehouse management systems.

**Skills**
- Proven experience in warehouse distribution and materials handling.
- Proficiency in operating forklifts, cranes, and other heavy equipment.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and order picking processes.
- Strong mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Experience with shipping & receiving operations is preferred.
- Knowledge of safety regulations including OSHA standards is essential.
