As a Total Rewards Specialist, you play a key role in bringing to life our global total rewards philosophy and evolving our total rewards programming, across our corporate, retail, and manufacturing sectors. You support the design, development, delivery, communication, and administration of Arc’teryx’s total rewards programs, including but not limited to our base pay, short
If you were a Total Rewards Specialist now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:
Managing compensation and benefits benchmarking and market intelligence surveys; providing data and producing insights on market trends through research and analysis
Supporting all core total rewards processes, including pay reviews, short
- and long-term incentive plan processes, and benefits administration
Evaluating total rewards programs and processes, identifying opportunities for changes or enhancements, in alignment with our total rewards philosophy and guiding principles
Developing and delivering communication materials to support our total rewards philosophy and programs to enhance the employee experience
Supporting the design and management of our benefits programs; vendor management, benefits benchmarking, policy alignment, and administration
Gathering and analyzing qualitative and quantitative data through internal and external sources to diagnose issues and recommend opportunities for program and policy enhancements
Partnering closely with our People and Culture team on pay-related matters such as pay adjustments, internal and external equity reviews, job evaluation, new hire offers, and promotions
Leading and supporting strategic initiatives, through project management, data analysis, design input, and delivery execution
Here are some of the things you could be working on in the future:
Developing and delivering total rewards communication materials and toolkits to enhance understanding of our total rewards philosophy and programs
Supporting an end-to-end pay structure review, including analyzing design options, forming recommendations, and enabling rollout
Contributing towards variable pay program design to better align with new compensation philosophy for core business vertical
Reviewing and mapping benefits processes, identifying and supporting rollout of recommendations
Are you our next Total Rewards Specialist?
You have a 5 years of related, progressive compensation and benefits experience, supplemented by post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business or another related field
You have or are working towards a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) and/or Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) designation, or equivalent experience
You have well-developed communication and interpersonal skills and you forge strong connections and work collaboratively across all levels of the company
You have advanced knowledge of Excel, including the ability to create and manipulate spreadsheets and formulas, build dynamic tools, and extract data and insights
You can form and present recommendations in a clear, compelling, and impactful way
You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions
You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
You effectively balance autonomy and collaboration
You inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement
You seek the best (sometimes not the easiest) solutions, with an unwavering commitment to do what is right
