Rental Manager

In this role you will be a valued member of Dawson Idealease, working in a permanent, full-time position of **Rental Manager**, reporting to the Branch Manager. As a Rental Manager, a day on the job will include coordinating rental processes, direct business to business sales calls for Idealease rental business development, and promotion of all the rental product lines. Your base location will be **Kelowna, BC**.

**WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE**
- Determine charges for services requested and collect deposits or payments, or arrange for billing
- Prepare product quotes for customers, based on customers' specific needs and interests
- Prepare rental invoices for customers and internal departments
- Maintain filing for repair orders, parts invoices, and rental forms; identifying missing documents
- Coordinate rental readiness with the yard person to maximize availability
- Assist manager with daily tasks
- Coordinate service and maintenance
- Arrange direct delivery of products and equipment
- Contact regular and prospective customers to demonstrate products, explain product features, and solicit orders
- Consult with clients after sales and contract signings to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support
- Identify prospective customers by using business directories, following leads from existing clients, participating in organizations and clubs, and attending trade shows and conferences
- Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales
- Deliver prepared sales talks, persuading potential customers to purchase a product or service
- Develop and use a systematic approach to rental sales calls utilizing telemarketing, mailers, and personal customer visits
- Maximize rental fleet utilization and profitability

**WHAT YOU BRING**
- Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills
- Five (5) years commercial sales or industry experience, formal sales training an asset
- Excellent sales skills, preferably with experience in medium and heavy-duty truck sales
- Familiarity with advertising mediums, terms, and success rates
- Comfortable making sales calls (by phone, face to face and webinar)
- Experience completing accurate estimates and quotes
- Valid Driver’s license
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
- Must be able to climb in and out of commercial transport vehicles
