**Job** **Summary**:

- Operate a variety of equipment to load, unload and move materials and products. Pick orders and stock. Make labels and attach to goods. Crate goods. Maintain and organize inventory.

**Key Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Load, unload and move products and materials by hand or using basic material handling equipment
- Perform other material handling activities such as counting, sorting, packing and unpacking
- Install fixtures and hanging devices onto a conveyor
- Identify and tag parts as required
- Protect parts from damage when packaging
- Ability to operate small hand tools in a safe manner.

**Other Duties, but not limited to**:

- Maintain and clean working area
- Check computer systems for material locations and inventory status
- Other duties as decided by supervisor
- Ensure correct counts on materials

**Qualifications**:

- Possesses experience and working knowledge in forklift operation.
- Physical strength is required for manual material handlers who work with heavy materials
- Knowledge of WHMIS and hazardous goods
- Ability to understand verbal and written instruction
- Strong verbal communication
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision
- Excellent organizational skills

**Working Conditions**:

- 40 hour work week (Monday to Friday, eight (8) hours per day)
- Fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Physically demanding
- Frequent standing, bending, walking, and stretching
- Lifting of light and heavy materials

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.50 per hour
