We currently require a Dynamic, Smart and Results oriented individual for our **IMS Site Lead and Training Specialist **role located in **Alberta**. We are a national provider of workplace medical testing and assessments based in Ayr, Ontario. We have Occupational Health Clinics in Kitchener, Sarnia, Mississauga, Calgary, Nisku, Edmonton and Fort McMurray. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Clinics, the primary focus of the IMS Site Lead (West) / Training Specialist is to be responsible for the Suncor Industrial Medical Staffing (IMS) program and staff, and development and support the training program and compliance of the East and West DriverCheck clinics (DCCs). The IMS Site Lead (West) / Training Specialist will work independently on training projects and initiatives, offer leadership and guidance to IMS staff, while operating successfully in a very fast paced environment.

**Primary duties and responsibilities**:

- Industrial Medical Staffing:_
- Provide leadership and mentorship to Suncor IMS staff to assist in their growth, development and training at the clinics and IMS sites
- Responsible for maintaining existing IMS projects and to help support the innovation and enhancement of the IMS program and process
- Participate in client meetings with other departments and have solution-focused collaboration with the client
- Responsible for ensuring IMS staff maintain certification requirements and are trained properly and regularly
- Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of efficient and consistent IMS daily workflow processes and procedures, as per the client’s guidance
- Responsible for the development of IMS reporting and analytics
- Responsible for IMS administrative duties such as ADP tracking of staff, complete and accurate Collector’s statements and investigations, etc.
- Clinic Training Program management:_
- Responsible for the design and implementation of a robust training program for DC clinic staff (East and West)
- Leverage a variety of training methods for optimal training delivery; slide modules, manuals, refreshers, in-person, virtual, recorded, applied/assessment, and Learning Management System (LMS)
- Create and maintain a detailed training schedule for DCC staff to ensure timely training roll-out, while considering clinic capacity; Liaise with clinic leadership/SMEs for training delivery, when required
- Define and manage a training maintenance and audit program to ensure DCC staff remain current and of highest quality for service delivery
- Develop training budget - training and travel costs, seek approvals, report on budget expenses
- Identify need, build, and roll-out ad-hoc training for breakthrough services
- Define DCC staff new hire onboarding training protocol; Support clinic TLs in managing and delivering new hire training
- Identify Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) at each clinic who can support training initiatives; Define process for keeping SMEs current and updated on training process and material (TTT - Train the Trainer)
- Develop and produce training reports
- Operational Support:_
- Support the monitoring, development and maintenance of effective internal controls and process in compliance with applicable legislation & regulations
- Lead and support various projects focused on DCC training and/or process/system improvements, following established PMO practices
- Leverage technology to build efficiencies within own role, and for DCCs/IMS
- Produce a weekly KPI dashboard to Senior Manager, Clinics
- Leadership Functions:_
- Support the clinic leadership team on the achievement of the strategic objectives of DC
- Take full ownership and responsibility for executing superior customer service in all activities internal and external to the company; Handle client requests and any complaints with a solution-focused approach
- Collaborate with other DC departments/leadership through clear communication, meetings and other channels; Maintain open communication with senior leaders (communicating up)
- Other Duties as assigned.

**What you need to be successful in the role**:

- Must reside in the province of Alberta
- Minimum LPN designation required
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Keen attention to detail and organizational skill
