Windsor, Canada Capital Assist (Valuation) Full time

Capital Assist is a multi-disciplinary group of companies which leverages the unique skills and experience

Ontario. It comprises of Capital Assist (Valuation) Inc., focused on business valuation, litigation support and
transaction advisory services and Capital Assist Professional Corporation, an accounting, assurance and
taxation advisory practice. The group is designed to help meet all of the financial goals and objectives of its
diverse client base and is seeking a motivated individual who possesses strong financial and analytical skills
that will excel in a dynamic, team-based environment.

**Position**: Analyst, Finance
Reporting to senior management, the Analyst is responsible for working on a variety of engagements,
providing research and technical support, identifying and handling issues on files, conducting financial
analysis and assisting in the preparation of reports.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in engagement planning including preparation of information requests, identification of key

issues and approach/methodology
- Assist in the preparation of reports and schedules for business valuation, litigation support

assignments, forensic accounting investigations and various strategic and financial analysis mandates
- Develop financial analysis and models in Excel, including detailed analysis of historical and projected

financial results, cash flow forecasts and budgets
- Conducting market and industry research, benchmarking analysis and compilation of comparable

company data and transactions
- Communicate with clients including correspondence, meetings and discussions and follow-up
- Provide support to clients with accounting services including preparation of the year end records and

internal financial reporting as well as corporate, personal and Trust tax returns

**Job Qualifications**:

- Business degree with 1 to 5 years of relevant post-graduate experience acquired in accounting,

business valuation and litigation support, corporate finance, investment banking, research or other
similar finance role
- CPA, CBV, CFA, and/or MBA viewed positively
- Strong skills in financial modeling and research
- Strong technical skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint skills; proficiency with

S&P Capital IQ and PowerBi would be considered an asset
- Strong communication and presentation skills including writing and verbal skills
- Ability to work on multiple engagements simultaneously
- Ability to work well both autonomously and in a team environment
- Positive attitude and a strong work ethic
