The Payroll & Benefits Specialist will also assist with disability and absence management administration, including tracking employee leaves, coordinating benefit coverage during absences, supporting return-to-work processes, and liaising with internal stakeholders and third-party providers as required. This position ensures employee needs are met through timely, accurate service delivered with the highest level of confidentiality.
- A relevant business degree or diploma and a minimum of two years of related human resources or payroll and benefits experience
- Exposure to disability and absence management, including short-term disability, long-term disability, and leave administration (considered an asset)
- Experience with Dayforce HCM (considered an asset)
- The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a professional team
- Strong customer service skills delivered in a confidential and sensitive manner
- Proven attention to detail and accuracy
- Initiative and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

What’s in it for you?
- Regular business hours, Monday to Friday, with the opportunity for flexible work scheduling
- Competitive salary, term-completion bonus, health, dental, and Employee Assistance Program benefits
- Employee wellness benefit and access to an on-site fitness facility
- Comprehensive orientation, training, and ongoing on-the-job support
