Line Cook/prep Cook

Responsibilities:
- Ability to perform cold & hot food preparation
- Preparing cold foods, including vegetables, salads, fruits and sandwiches
- Ability to keep kitchens clean. I.e. mopping floors, washing dishes, cleaning equipment or sanitizing workstations
- Following orders promptly and efficiently
- Being able to spend hours on your feet, in places of extreme heat or cold
- Knowing state and federal regulations regarding safe food handling
- Managing stress
- Learning new skills quickly
- Experience in a similar environment is an asset
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Prepares food needed in the restaurants and banquets to meet high quality food standards.
- Able to cook off & plate menu items for the Bistro
**Requirements**:
- Food Handlers Certification
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
**Salary**: $16.00-$20.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Ancaster, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
**Experience**:
- Cooking: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
