Chick-fil-A Meadows is looking for highly motivated individuals to join our team as **Full-time Back of House Shift Leaders**. In our fast-paced, guest-focused environment, you will play a key role in providing exceptional service to our guests and introducing the Chick-fil-A brand to Alberta. If you're passionate about creating outstanding dining experiences and thrive in a collaborative environment, we would love to hear from you As part a shift leader, your main responsibility will involve overseeing and coordinating the delivery of exceptional food and ensuring the seamless operation of our restaurant. With expected opening of **early April,** Chick-fil-A Meadows is currently hiring various full-time back of house shift leaders to support the daily restaurant operations of Alberta's Chick-fil-A location. **Company Information** Chick-fil-A is in the business of serving our guests great food and remarkable experiences. Today, Chick-fil-A restaurants serve great tasting food to millions of guests every year, in more than 3,000 restaurants in 48 states, Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico and Canada. Chick-fil-A opened its first Canadian restaurant in 2019. Chick-fil-A was officially founded in 1967 by S. Truett Cathy. He made the decision to close on Sundays in 1946 when he opened his first restaurant in Hapeville, Georgia. Having worked seven days a week in restaurants open 24 hours, Truett saw the importance of closing on Sundays so that he and his employees could set aside one day to rest and worship if they choose — a practice we uphold today. **Responsibilities**: Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited, to the following: - Represent, promote & maintain Chick-fil-A Meadows Vision, Mission, Culture & Core Values of Chick-fil-A Meadows in all interactions with guests, team members, and vendors. - Uphold the Core 4 principles: Create eye contact, share a smile, speak in a friendly tone, & say “My pleasure” when interacting with guests and vendors - Exhibits care for guests and fellow team members every day; - Fosters a healthy working relationship with the team; - Upholds all policies and procedures to maintain quality standards; - Lead and motivate kitchen staff, ensuring a positive and efficient work environment. - Carefully prepares food based on orders in a timely manner, and upholds company standards; - Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to food safety guidelines. - Train new hires and provide ongoing coaching to team members on kitchen procedures and food safety. - Oversee kitchen operations, ensuring timely food preparation and high-quality standards during the shift - Ensure all food is prepared, stored, and served according to health and safety guidelines. - Monitor inventory levels, assist with ordering, and ensure proper rotation of stock to reduce waste. - Ensures the back of the house is spotless, cleans dishes and ensures equipment is well-maintained. - Follow all training standards specific to the Pathway Program and maintain consistency in operations. - Ensure the First & Second Mile and Recovery Models are consistently maintained in all guest interactions. - Demonstrate strong personal characteristics such as humility, a willingness to collaborate, and a desire to learn. - Perform additional tasks as assigned by leadership to support business needs. **Those who do the following typically do well in this role**: - Take ownership of the Chick-fil-A brand and purpose by being good stewards and having a positive influence on all who come in contact with Chick-fil-A - Promote a friendly, welcoming, and inclusive work environment - Always have a ‘Put me in, Coach’ mentality - Bring a caring, friendly, and optimistic attitude to work - Communicate and collaborate effectively with team members - Thrive in fast paced and demanding environments - Ability to multi-task - Physically fit to stand for long periods and lift equipment - Embrace and seek constructive criticism from peers and leadership - Constantly pursue improvement and excellence - Pay attention to detail - Abide by OHS standards - Flexible to work in all the stations in the back of house and consistently look for ways to serve other **Requirements**: - Excellent customer service and communication skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions - Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays Monday-Saturdays - Ability to stand for long periods of time, bend and lift up to 50 pounds - Previous experience in the food service industry is a plus - Food safety certification is preferred, but no
