Animal Care Attendant

Veterinary Allergy Dermatology & Ear Referral (VADER) Clinic is a Specialty Veterinary Dermatology clinic located in Morriston, Ontario, Canada, between Milton and Cambridge along HWY 401. We are a dedicated team providing high quality, exceptional care specific to skin diseases and allergies for our patients. We are seeking a full time Certified Animal Care Attendant/Veterinary Assistant to join our wonderful ensemble of 15 dedicated professionals including Board Certified Veterinary Dermatologists, Resident, Practice Manager, Veterinary Technicians, Assistants, ACA and Client Services Representatives.

Our hours of operation are Monday to Friday 8:30 am - 5:30 pm with no evenings, no weekends and mínimal euthanasias.

Job duties:
Preparing exam rooms for consultations, checking patients in, packaging/processing immunotherapy for shipping and pick up, assist with animal restraint/monitoring, stocking pharmacy and food shelves, cleaning/prepping surgical suite, laundry, stocking kits and tests, preparing samples and paperwork for lab, stocking all exam rooms, emptying garbage, general cleaning,

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

**Education**:

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

- Customer Service: 3 years (preferred)
