Job Title:
Trade Show Associate for Holiday Market Shows & Solo Shows (Toronto, Niagara & other locations)

- Niagara, ON - Handmade Market
- Solo shows - as needed, various locations

Compensation:
$18/hr, paid for show hours. Setup and teardown may require additional hours and are included in pay if worked.

About the Role:
We are a small, handmade apothecary business participating in busy holiday shows and occasional solo shows. We are seeking reliable, organized, and friendly Trade Show Associates to help run booths, assist customers, and ensure events operate smoothly.

Solo shows require independent setup, booth management, and teardown, including transporting products from Belwood studio to the show location and back.

Key Responsibilities:

- Set up and break down the booth according to instructions
- Greet and assist customers, answer basic questions about products
- Handle sales transactions and follow cash or card payment procedures
- Restock and maintain displays during the show
- Assist with light logístical tasks as needed
- Ensure the booth is tidy, organized, and welcoming at all times
- For solo shows: pick up products from Belwood studio, transport to the show location, set up and run the booth, tear down, and return items to Belwood

Qualifications:

- Interest in aromatherapy, herbal products, and supporting a small, woman-owned business
- Passionate about learning and building relationships with the community
- Friendly, professional, and customer-service oriented
- Reliable, punctual, and consistent
- Comfortable handling cash or digital transactions
- Able to lift and move light to moderate items (boxes, displays)
- Comfortable working in busy, public event settings
- Valid driver’s license and access to a car required for solo shows
- Bonus: prior trade show or retail experience
