New Steps Childcare Centre is a Christian based centre where Bible stories and songs are a part of our daily program. Christian principles and values are supported and taught within the Centre.

**Job Description**:

- Developing and implementing early learning programs for children ranging from 3 months to 5 years of age.
- Planning, developing, and implementing programs that contain stimulating activities for infant, toddler, and Preschool children.
- Follow and implement our philosophy
- Ensure Licensing and Peel Region requirements are followed
- Implementation of new and revised Ministry of Health & other Gov’t policies (due to COVID-19 we have changes and revision bi
- weekly).
- Ensure the Centre is in compliance with local and federal laws governing childcare, both in regards to physical environment and staff
- Act as a professional advisor to the Program Director on all aspects of the Centre activities
- Develop operational plan with goals and objectives.
- Oversee the efficient and effective day-to-day operation of the Centre
- Ensure the programs and services offered by New Steps contribute to the Centre’s mission and philosophy.
- Establish a positive healthy and safe work environment in accordance with all appropriate legislation and regulations.

**Qualification**:

- Hight School Diploma
- CPR certification
- First Aid
- Police Reference Check

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
