**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to assess their condition, value, and any necessary repairs.
- Provide detailed reports on vehicle appraisals, including documentation of findings and recommendations.
- Engage with customers to explain appraisal results and answer any questions they may have.
- Utilize effective upselling techniques to recommend additional services or products that may benefit the customer.
- Collaborate with sales and service teams to ensure seamless communication regarding vehicle evaluations.
- Maintain accurate records of appraisals and ensure compliance with dealership policies and procedures.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market values, and new automotive technologies.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in customer service within the automotive industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with dealership operations and cash handling procedures is a plus.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with a background in automotive repair or as a mechanic is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with customers.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Previous experience in sales or upselling within an automotive context is advantageous.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Thornhill, ON L3T 7P5: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
