**Laborer**
We are looking for a laborer for our shop in Dundas, ON. Bulk Plus Services a division of Trimac, is a North American leader in transloading and logistics. With over 10 locations, Bulk Plus Logistics offers career progression, competitive pay, benefits, and job security.

**Pay**: $22.00+/hour based on experience.
**Shift Details**: 8-hour shifts, Mon-Fri with OT available.
**Hours**: 4:00 am - 12:00 pm/12:00 pm - 8:00 pm.
**Job Details**:

**Responsibilities**:

- Receiving product.
- Operate cement packing machine and related operations based on laid down SOP.
- Ensure the cleaning of loading machines, packing machines, and the floors and their surrounding areas.
- Clean the packing machine with compressed air as required.
- Count and record finished and rejected bags of cement.
- Adhere to company policies & procedures (as per training)
- Work safely, using company-issued and directed PPE
- Responsible to ensure compliance with all company and customer safety policies and procedures
- Complete tasks in a timely fashion as to the Standard Operating Guidelines
- Ability to work in various weather conditions all year round (hot and cold)
- Responsible for various administrative tasks regarding production reports, timekeeping, etc.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Skills**:

- Strong and effective communication skills (oral and written).
- Basic knowledge of the cement production process.
- Good knowledge of the cement packing machines/ functions and procedures is an asset.
- Basic understanding of mechanical equipment.
- Operation of hand tools/tow motor/forklift experience.
- Operation of air tools.
- Positive work ethic.
- Able to demonstrate an ability to work independently, unsupervised, and as well as in a team.
- Positive attitude & job performance.

**Requirements**:

- May work above shoulder level with power and or hand tools weighing 40kgs or less.
- Must meet physical requirements of the position and have mobility, vision, hearing, sense of smell, and dexterity levels appropriate to the duties performed.
- May stand and walk on level and uneven surfaces, twist, bend, push, pull, crouch, climb stairs, bend and crawl, grasp, drag, lift and carry items weighing 40lbs or less.

**Educational Requirements**
- Grade 12 or equivalent preferred.
- Valid class 5 license required.
- TDG/WHMIS Certification (training to be provided).
- On-the-job training provided.
