**Rate of Pay: $22.33 - $24.10 per hour**

Under the direction of the Director of Care, the Residence Clerk (Ward Clerk) is responsible for clerical functions, operations and communication within the resident home areas.

**Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary education in a related program
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology
- Good verbal and written communication, interpersonal and organization skills
- Good computer skills (programs include Microsoft Word, Excel, StffRight, E-mail, etc.)
- Ability to work in a team, as well as independently
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
- Ability to be flexible and follow directions from various program staff
- Ability to prioritize and organize day-to-day functions of the office to meet deadlines, noting the work is varied and often done for several principals
- Tact, good judgment, and must maintain confidentiality of records, actions and information
- Demonstrated regular attendance at work

**CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT**
This position shall be conditional upon a satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC) where indicated, to ensure the absence of relevant criminal convictions.
