**POSITION**:Construction Safety Officer**

**DEPARTMENT: Construction**

**REPORTS TO: Superintendent & Construction Manager**

**INDIRECTLY TO: President, Vice President**

**Position Overview**:
As a Construction Safety Officer working in our construction department, you will work closely with our management team to lead the Safety Program on our Project Site in **Victoria, BC.**

Spire Development is actively involved in projects for commercial, light industrial, and multi-family construction up to $100 million.

**Qualifications & Competencies**:
**Education**
- Valid Occupational First Aid **(OFA) - Level 2 OFA Level 3 is required.**
- Certification in CSO, NCSO, or CRSP preferred.

**Experience & Technical Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) programs, policies, and regulatory standards.

**Soft Skills**:

- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
- Maintains a professional attitude and appearance when representing the Company.
- Excellent organizational skills; have the ability to time manage and meet multiple tasks in an organized fashion.
- Self-motivated and results driven.

Pay: $27.00-$40.00 per hour
