**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Assist clients with daily living activities (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Monitor and record vital signs as needed to ensure clients' health is maintained.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities.
- Support clients in home community care settings, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.
- Drive clients to appointments, social events, or errands as required.
- Offer direct support in personal care homes or group homes, fostering a nurturing atmosphere.
- Implement individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs, including dementia care strategies.
- Maintain clear communication with family members and healthcare professionals regarding client progress and concerns.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in senior care or home care environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of vital signs monitoring and basic health assessments is beneficial.
- Familiarity with ADLs and personal care routines for seniors or individuals with disabilities.
- Experience providing dementia care or working in a personal care home setting is a plus.
- Ability to drive safely and possess a valid driver’s license.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to caregiving.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and professionalism.
- Must pass background checks as required by company policy.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $16.00-$17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- supportive care: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
