**Structural Drafter**
Krahn Engineering is looking for an enthusiastic and aspiring individual to join our team as a junior Structural Drafter to be based in our Abbotsford office. The Structural Drafter will be responsible for the preparation of structural engineering drawings using 3D modelling in Autodesk Revit Structure. They will be required to work collaboratively in a team environment with Architects and multi-disciplined Engineers and Designers. Other duties will fall under the direction of the Manager on a project-by-project basis.

**Responsibilities**
- Create 3D structural engineering models
- Document & annotate 2D drawings, sections, and details generated from 3D models
- Coordinate models and workflow between the multi-disciplined design team
- Contribute to QA/QC efforts and efficiency of drawing production
- Respond to contractor’s inquiries or request for change during the construction phase
- Occasional assistance of engineers in reviewing structural shop drawings and conducting site reviews
- Additional responsibilities as required

**Qualifications**
- Diploma in CADD with emphasis on Structural drafting or Certificate in drafting
- Strong Revit knowledge
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Self-starter and team player
- A valid driver’s license
- Registered with ASTTBC, ASET or OACETT is considered an asset
- Construction site experience is considered an asset
