Role: Team Lead Location: Saskatoon **Work Schedule: Dayshift, Monday - Thursday, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm**: Crestline Coach is a long-established family orientated organization in Saskatoon, SK, that has grown to become North America's leading ambulance manufacturer Crestline Coach has strong values that align with our culture that demonstrate a customer-centric focus, leadership, integrity, family spirit, and excellence in all we do. **Crestline Coach Ltd. is seeking an energetic & professional individual to add to our Production Department** As a Team Lead, you will be able to: **Support Daily Manufacturing Throughput and Output** - Lead Team Members in the performance of their day-to-day activities - Provide clear expectations and hold team members accountable while providing continual feedback - Lead process improvement activities by coordinating cross functional teams comprised of production, materials, maintenance, quality and engineering - Monitor and address output & productivity issues within assigned departments inclusive of meeting production targets, cycle time and product & process quality standards - Take responsibility for ensuring the maximum production output while maintaining the highest level of quality and employee morale - Plan for all pre and post-Kaizen activities in his area, with help from the Lean Team, to make every Kaizen event in the area successful - Take ownership of all processes and products so that they meet all quality standards, and that nothing goes out to an internal customer that is deficient in quality - Work with the Safety & Quality Manager to ensure the safety of employees and the mainteance of equipment - Comply with all federal and provinical safety standards, guidelines and policies by driving workforce initiatives such as our health and safety system towards a Mission zero incident safety culture. - Support team members by proactively addressing issues that are affecting quality, delivery and productivity in the area through the daily morning meetings, and also through proactive and personal interactions with other departments and superiors to ensure that all barriers are removed **Personality Traits/Core Skills**: - Values align with Crestline culture: integrity, trust, excellence and innovation - Strong visionary leadership skills - A higher than average sense of urgency for execution - Very high focus on results - Ability to lead, coach, mentor and motivate a group of skilled and semi-skilled Production employees in a quality-focused, results-oriented environment - Ability to lead a Production function through a well planned, project-driven organization, with the goal of delivering the company’s long and short term objectives - Strong organizational and planning skills - Excellent analytical and problem solving skills - Ability to critically think - Ability to prioritize tasks in a constantly changing environment - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Demonstrated data and results driven approach towards work - Keen attention to detail - High quality focus - Ability to work independently - A team player with a competitive, can-do and winning attitude **Benefits we offer**: - Job stability - Coverall & Boot allowance - Prescription safety glasses program - Social Committee events: breakfasts, lunches, monthly birthday treats and more - Free electrified parking - Free 24/7 access for you and your family to an online doctor - Group benefits Plan (Health, Dental, AD&D, Life Insurance and Disability) - Monthly employee newsletters - Open door policy to encourage employee questions or concerns. - RRSP & eligible for Pension after 1 year of employment
