The Cybersecurity Analyst will work with IT to mitigate identified incidents, identify and reduce vulnerabilities, and support the organization in a variety of information security response mandates.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Proactively scan the company for threats and suspicious behavior.
- Ensure that all software has appropriate security measures in place.
- Monitor, investigate, remediate and respond to security events through to resolution.
- Investigate security-threatening incidents identified during security events, and manage several concurrent incidents by various means and stages.
- Contribute to the handling of security incidents, ensuring their containment, eradication and recovery through appropriate evidence gathering and documentation, through to closure.
- Participate in the security incident response team and review procedures on an ongoing basis.
- Assist the Vulnerability Management and Patch Management teams. Contribute to the development of information security policies.
- Perform vulnerability testing and risk analysis to assess current security and identify standards for improvement.
- Participate in security, vulnerability and risk assessments of information security features of systems, networks and related administrative activities; recommend mitigation strategies as required.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer security option, or other relevant degree
- 3-5 years' experience
- Bilingual (French & English)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Superior active listening skills
- Minutia and precision
- Excellent team spirit
- Ability to write clear documentation and instructions
- Logical Thinking
- Knowledge of Tenable is an asset
- Knowledge of Cybersecurity in Linux is an asset
