**Interim IT Manager (contract)**

Location: North Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada (hybrid)

**Description**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Perform an IT infrastructure assessment and make recommendations for modernization, including identifying what servers/data can be migrated to the cloud.
- Review current on-prem phone system and see what cloud telephony options are available.
- Work with service providers and vendors to understand current service contracts and to make changes, as needed.
- Oversee hardware requests and recommend asset tracking/management system.
- Review current third-party support agreement for viability.
- Review Microsoft licenses, ensuring they are paying for only what is required.
- Create on-boarding checklists for management to understand what access to provide for new employees, as well as an off-boarding checklist to ensure they can quickly terminate IT access, as needed.
- Support through transition by providing knowledge transfer to future new hire IT Manager.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 10 years of experience providing IT infrastructure support and performing upgrades for IT infrastructure.
- Experience performing IT assessments for small / medium-sized businesses.
- Experience upgrading legacy PBX phone systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
