**Minimum requirements**:

- **Must hold a valid Security Licence and have a MINIMUM of 1 YEAR EXPERIENCE**:

- **Must be tactically / Use of Force Trained / Certified**:

- Must hold a valid Ontario Security License and First Aid Certificate
- Must be available for various shifts: Mornings, Evenings and Continental Rotations.
- Minimum one year of a security guard, concierge and customer service experience is REQUIRED.
- Demonstrated initiative and success through past assignments and duties.
- Knowledge of Federal and Provincial Laws and Arrest/Detention/Release authority
- Ability to achieve excellent customer service to clients, tenants, and guests.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Enthusiastic about working as part of a responsible and capable team
- Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Possesses a high level of integrity and credibility.
- Good knowledge of Health and Safety practices.
- Willing to conduct routine interior and exterior foot patrols of the facility grounds.
- Conflict Resolution and Diffusion skills are A MUST
- Ability to work effectively and handle multiple situations simultaneously while providing quality service.
- Outgoing personality with excellent interpersonal skills.

**Job Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Foot patrol, visitor and physical assets protection.
- Continuously build a professional reputation.
- Effective communication and conflict resolution.
- Ensuring property rules and regulations are followed and maintained.
- Provide support to Property Management and all tenants and visitors as required.
- Professional attitude towards any required training, handling emergencies and effective communications. Liaison with local police where required.
- Assists tenants and visitors in a branded, friendly, proactive, and efficient manner with appropriate follow-up, as necessary.
- Provide services requested by the client, such as contract escort, tenant, and visitor escort
- Ability to monitor the Fire Panel, Video Surveillance Systems (VSS), Access Control Systems and Alarms.
- Enforce client’s rules, provincial & federal laws, and regulations.
- Perform assigned property patrols and ensure that fire extinguishers and fire hoses are accessible
- Follow up with daily documentation in your memo book notes and incident reports as required.
- Use of provided software program for communication with residents, board members, and the security team.
- Opening and lock up of multiple buildings, according to a daily schedule.
- Conduct interior and exterior patrol of the property, including parking lots, mechanical rooms.
