**Job Summary**

**What is the opportunity?**

The Consultant Relations role is part of the Business Development team and RBC Investor Services (RBCIS) organization. Based in Toronto, this role is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with global, regional and local consultants.

**What will you do?**
- Help drive, develop and execute a Consultant Relations strategy for RBCIS
- Simplify and enable access for consultants into RBCIS.
- Act as primary entry point of contact for consultants for knowledge, RFI/RFP engagement, market intelligence.
- Working with RBCIS Business Development and RBCIS Client Success to manage consultant pipeline of opportunities.
- Serving as resource to consultants on markets, product development and trends
- Working with RBCIS Marketing and Communications to ensure consistent messaging and communication to consultant community.
- Partner with consulting firms to deliver thought leadership, information and insights.
- Articulate RBCIS strategies and product awareness to consultant community.
- Research RFP responses and Demos.

**What do you need to succeed?**

**Must-have**
- 3-6 years of relevant experience within the financial services and/or asset servicing industry
- Able to engage at “C” level across consultant and client organizations
- Sound knowledge of the Financial Services, Asset management and Asset services industry
- Sales-oriented approach to daily responsibilities
- Organized and detail-oriented with strong project and time management skills
- Proactive team player; ability to prioritize and work with professionals at all level
- Bilingual: English/French (written and spoken) is a nice to have
