Bakery Retail Associate

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Customer Service**:

- Provide excellent and friendly service to all customers.
- Assist customers with product inquiries, special orders, and purchases.
- Handle transactions accurately at the point of sale.
- **Bakery Assistance**:

- Support bakery staff with preparation and packaging tasks as needed.
- Ensure products are correctly labeled and displayed.
- **Food Safety and Hygiene**:

- Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment.
- Follow proper procedures for handling gluten-free products to prevent cross-contamination.
- **Stocking Shelves and Maintaining Cleanliness**:

- Restock bakery shelves promptly and ensure displays are visually appealing.
- Regularly clean work areas, equipment, and displays to uphold cleanliness standards.
- **Teamwork**:

- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
- **Gluten Free Certification Program**:

- Employees are required to follow the gluten-free certification program and complete all necessary procedures, including the shipping and receiving log, raw ingredient log, batch control, GMP, daily monitoring form, cleaning checklist, temperature log, and daily product inventory, among others.

**Qualifications**:

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for providing excellent customer service.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices (training provided as needed).
- Physical capability to lift and move items up to 25 pounds.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings.

**Location: Ste. Anne’s Spa**

**Position Type: Full Time**

Pay: $21.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
