**Assistant Equipment Manager (Seasonal)**

**Overview**:
This role is responsible for supporting inventory control of athletic supplies and equipment.

**Job Duties**:

- Assists Equipment Manager with distribution and collection of all athletic wear and equipment
- Assists Equipment Manager with repair of equipment
- Washes and folds uniforms
- Ensures equipment is returned by staff and athletes at the end of the season.
- Assists Equipment Manager in preparation of equipment for reconditioning and keeps an accurate inventory.
- Assists Equipment Manager with receiving and creating inventories for all newly purchased equipment.
- Assists Equipment Manager with set-ups for practice, including but not limited to moving PA amplifiers, scoreboard modules, game balls, nets, standards, and assorted other items to make the site ready for use.
- Assists Equipment Manager with taking down and securing game facilities after contests.
- Completes tasks as assigned by Equipment Manager (i.e., assists with Athletic Trainers and coaching staff when needed).
- Works with City of Edmonton custodial and maintenance staff as necessary for facility maintenance and repair.

- Ability to improvise under stress.
- Ability to be a creative problem solver.
- Must be able to work in a team environment.
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Strong personal code of ethics, integrity, and trust.
- Strong integrity and character who shares a commitment for knowing and complying with Canadian Football League, and Company policy.

**Requirements**:

- Must have a high school diploma with preference to some college.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills when dealing with people, especially under stressful situations.
- Must be skillful enough to work with small tools and equipment with some mechanical and electrical expertise.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
