Yard Coordinator

Bayview Group is a growing local Winnipeg construction company providing heavy construction services such as road building, sewer and water, concrete recycling, and all municipal services to our communities.

We are looking to expand our team and are currently accepting resumes for the following position:
**Yard Coordinator**

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with procurement staff to track expected deliveries
- Receive shipments and sign paperwork upon receipt
- Unload packages from incoming trucks (as needed)
- Verify packages according to order (quantity, item, price etc.)
- Inspect contents to ensure they are undamaged
- Contact supplier or shipper if a mistake is identified
- Label deliveries and allocate them to their designated place
- Maintain accurate records and input into inventory control software
- Provide back-up for procurement staff as needed

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as shipping/receiving coordinator or similar position
- Working knowledge of computer programs for entering data
- Excellent organizational skills
- Great communication and interpersonal abilities
- Keen eye for detail
- Good physical condition
- Experience with forklift / loader
