**Job Description**:
The Regional Manager, Sales will be responsible for leading, motivating and developing a team of twelve District Sales Managers within Central Region. The District Sales Managers (DMs) are based throughout the Region, and most are remotely located. Central Region includes the Province of Ontario and the Region of Gatineau in Quebec.

The role reports into the Regional Director. In partnership with the Regional Director, the Regional Manager
- Sales will provide leadership towards the achievement of retail sales and market share goals, maximize revenue and enhance the customer experience through the development of strong partnerships with the GM dealer network. This position also supports and leads regional and Key City marketing plans and strategies.
- Grow retail sales and improve market share performance
- Grow adjacency revenue performance including Accessory sales revenue, OnStar, etc.
- Lead and develop a team of District Managers that drive district and dealer performance
- Improve Customer Satisfaction and retail experience in both including excellence in the digital environment

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Retail Sales and Market Share Performance: _
- Achieve retail sales and share objectives for the Central Region
- Set monthly retail sales objectives performance in both gas (ICE) and Electric Vehicle (EV) products
- Execute strategic sales and marketing tactics to capitalize on market opportunities
- Conduct monthly sales performance analysis and implement action plans at regional, district and dealer level
- Lead and support DM team in driving performance of poor performing dealers
- Train and coach DMs to leverage GM tools and reports
- Grow Adjacency Sales _
- Drive Accessories revenue performance
- Support and grow GM Financial Leasing Penetration
- Development of District Managers (DMs) and Dealer Performance Management _
- Inspect and coach DMs on monthly dealer marketing plans and action plan development
- Ensure DMs are knowledgeable on GM processes, policies and procedures
- Work with a One Team mentality to engage and support other internal GM departments
- Travel with District Managers as required to provide one-on-one coaching and feedback
- Support Regional and Key City meetings with content preparation
- Lead Key City initiatives - specifically with the Toronto strategy group
- Improve Customer Satisfaction and Retail Experience _
- Build a culture of customer experience excellence within the dealer network
- Champion improvement in digital, specifically the implementation of retail innovation that supports a contemporary retail experience with a focus on GM’s transformation to its Electric Vehicle (EV) portfolio

**Qualifications**
- A powerful desire to win and continuously drive performance results
- Excellent People Leader capabilities and experience in building effective teams
- Ability to manage change and deal with ambiguity
- Strong people skills including excellent political savvy
- Automotive sales and marketing background
- District Sales Manager experience preferred
- Strong understanding of sales and marketing
- Exceptional knowledge of retail dealership operations
- Understanding of GM’s distribution processes preferred
- Ability to travel throughout the region
- Flexibility to work extended hours on occasion if required (month end etc.)

**Education and Training**:

- Undergraduate degree preferably in Business and/or MBA
