As a VR Adventures ZONE Assistant Manager, you will support your Store Manager in contributing to your store’s success by leading with an unwavering focus on delivering a fun and unique guest experience. Accountable for maximizing sales potential by coaching associates' behaviours on the operations floor, setting expectations and ensuring execution. A focused attention to detail in store operations and preservation of VR Adventures ZONE’s policies and procedures.

**Major Responsibilities**:
- Provides excellent customer service and a comfortable atmosphere through leadership by example and assisting the store leader with training and developing others.
- Ensuring all customers receive excellent service; all operations and record keeping standards, policies, and procedures are followed.
- Assist Store Manager in achieving profit goals as well as controlling store expenses.
- Assists the store leader with selecting quality associates by effectively recruiting and interviewing.
- Trains and develops associates by assisting the store leader with orientating, training, and coaching.
- Ensuring all customers receive excellent service; all operations and record keeping standards, policies, and procedures are followed.
- Maintains store operations standards by ensuring accurate, timely processes with the following policies and procedures.
- Maintains the store's appearance and ensure that the store is clean.
- Ensures that VR equipment is operational and always ready to serve our guests.
**Qualifications**
- Superior customer service, organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Love of Gaming & VR.
- Experience working with technology (Computers, VR Headsets).
- Experience working with Kids is an asset.
- Experience in a retail environment or an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered an asset.
- Ability to work with little supervision with a high standard for quality, attention to detail and cleanliness.
- Ability to work in a team environment with clear and effective communication style, both written and oral.
- Flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings and holidays.
- Fluency in English.
**Work & Sensory Environment**:
- Required to stand for long periods of time during shift.
**Job Types**: Part-time, Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
