**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Supervises Allocators ensuring that the day to day allocation and coordination of flights are
managed on a real-time basis ensuring smooth operation.
- Accountable for safety, resource management, operation standards
- Ensures all airline operational requirements are met (requesting flight plans, movement/delay messages are sent, airline systems are updated and referred to and the
monitoring of progress of live flights is undertaken.
- Manage the recording and billing for airline customers
- Full knowledge and control of RSMS (Ramp Sheet Management system).
- Allocate manning GSE to meet the needs to customer and Menzies aviation.
- Obtain inbound and outbound load plans from customers.
- Become direct point of contact to provide real time operational information for Ramp
Teams, Airlines and Station Manager.
- Create live shift report.
- Provide Ramp/Zone Supervisors/Dispatchers with Load Plans for flight.
- Record arrival times of ramp teams at assigned gate.
- Record departure times of aircraft.
- Inform Station Manager of any delays or service failure.
- Update aircraft arrival and departure times, communicate to ramp crews.
- Record and GSE defects and report to GSE maintenance.
- Collect walk around check sheets for each flight.
- Record staff absences, or late personnel, make changes to ramp team to cover and
shortfall in manning.
- Allocate set GSE to ramp teams; ensure GSE check sheet is completed by each team before
shift commences.
- Ensure safety and security procedures are performed according to the Menzies Health &
Safety regulations, and according to international aviation standards.
- Supervise and monitor performance, taking action to correct any shortfalls.
- Liaises with airline station managers, airport operations staff, handling agents, customs,
immigration, and security officials, and other airport stakeholders.
- Work shifts as required by the business.
- Reports all significant deficiency’s in operations directly to Operations Manager.
- Has the duty to suggest any improvements to working practise especially those relating to
safety and security.
- Prepare disciplinary incident and or termination reports as needed for violations of
company policy.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Required Skills**:

- Solid knowledge on all aspects of RSMS
- Thorough knowledge of dispatch and weight and balance
- Solid supervisory, coaching, communication and motivational skills,
- Ground Handling experience at a high volume international airport;
- Conversant with international airline ramp handling procedures, International aviation safety and security procedures, and Menzies ramp, safety and security procedures;
- Excellent knowledge of ramp GSE;
- Must have Valid G or G2 Driver’s license and valid DA
- Provide daily and real-time plan for YYZ operations;
- Proactive forward thinker
- Manage ramp teams as demanded by changes in flight schedules;
- Provide real time information to Operations Manager, customers and ramp teams;
- Must be able to obtain and hold required security clearances
- Must be able to work different shifts, weekends and holidays when required
