**Job Overview**
**Duties**
- Lead and supervise retail staff, including recruiting, training, and developing team members to ensure high performance and excellent customer service.
- Oversee daily store operations, including merchandising, pricing strategies, inventory purchasing, and POS system management.
- Manage payroll, bookkeeping, and administrative tasks to ensure accurate record-keeping and compliance with company policies.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase store visibility and sales.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure a positive shopping experience through effective communication skills and phone etiquette.
- Monitor sales performance and analyze sales data to identify opportunities for growth.
- Manage cash handling procedures, pricing adjustments, and store budgeting activities.
- Coordinate with vendors for purchasing supplies and merchandise while negotiating favorable terms.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and maintain a clean, organized store environment.
- Lead promotional activities and participate in community outreach efforts to boost store presence.
**Experience**
- Proven experience in retail sales management or store management roles with supervising experience.
- Strong background in merchandising, sales management, marketing, and team leadership.
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, bookkeeping, payroll processing, and inventory purchasing.
- Excellent negotiation skills coupled with organizational skills for effective time management and prioritization.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are preferred to serve diverse customer bases effectively.
- Demonstrated ability in training & development, budgeting, leadership, interviewing new staff members, and supervising teams.
Pay: $20.00-$33.06 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 32 per week
