**AtkinsRéalis** is hiring a **Quantity Surveyor** to join our growing team. This position is based in Toronto, Ontario. The Quantity Surveyor is responsible for developing and implementing the program estimate breakdown structure and determining the appropriate methods of measurement for the program. This role involves reviewing and commenting on contractor cost estimates, providing advice and guidance on cost estimating, and producing bottom-up estimates as part of the assurance process.

**Your role within the team**:

- Develop and implement the program estimate breakdown structure and determine the appropriate methods of measurement for the program.
- Review and comment on the contractor’s cost estimates including those associated with Target Price submissions and Change Requests.
- Provide advice and guidance to the Program Leads and Program Controls and Commercial Leads with respect to cost estimating.
- Produce (where necessary) bottom-up estimates as part of the assurance process to validate the contractor’s estimate.
- Maintain a library of rates and benchmark information for the program.
- Work collaboratively with PMO Services to report and integrate estimating information and support program-wide estimating.

- Minimum of 10 years experience in quantity surveying / estimating working on large scale airport and/or aviation infrastructure programs
- A recognized designation as Cost Control Professional (CCP), Professional Quantity Surveyor (PQS), Royal Institute Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) or equivalent is considered an asset.
- Experience in cost reporting and the integration of cost information from across the program to create consolidated program-level cost estimating reports.
- General understanding of program controls and the interdependencies between cost, schedule, risk, and scope.
- Availability to work in person five days per week at project office
