Cafeteria Cashier

**Job Summary**:
The Full-Time Cafeteria Cashier is responsible for managing cash and electronic transactions, providing excellent customer service, and supporting overall cafeteria operations. When not handling cash transactions, this role involves assisting with various kitchen tasks to ensure smooth operation of the cafeteria.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Transaction Handling: Operate the register to process payments, provide change, and issue receipts.
- Customer Service: Greet and assist students and staff, and address any inquiries or concerns.
- Meal and Inventory Management: Verify meal accounts and assist with inventory monitoring.
- Kitchen Assistance: Help with food preparation, stocking supplies, and other kitchen tasks as needed when not handling the cash register.
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Keep the cashier area clean and follow health and safety guidelines; assist with general cleaning in the kitchen and dining areas.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 20 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
