As we continue our growth trajectory, we are looking for a Billing Coordinator to join our team. Let’s create something unique and have a little fun while doing it

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Billing Clerk will be responsible for auditing vendor invoices in accordance with the related service contracts and billing out the required charges on client invoices.

**Responsibilities**:

- Audit vendor invoices
- Read and understand hauling service contracts
- Create client invoices at contracted pricing
- Answer billing related questions from clients
- Work collaboratively with the Financial Controller and all other Waste Solutions Canada team members
- Ad hoc project work
- Various finance duties as needed

**Requirements**:

- Accounting related degree or diploma and +1 year of equivalent experience preferred
- Experience working with CAD and USD considered an asset
- High attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Collaborates and works well other team members
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Knowledge of other Microsoft Office software (Word, One Note, etc.)
- Experience working in accounting software (Xero preferred)
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
