**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and treatments
- Prepare animals for procedures, including restraint and sedation as needed
- Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments under supervision
- Collect and process laboratory samples for diagnostic testing
- Maintain accurate medical records and update patient files
- Provide client education regarding animal health and care instructions
- Monitor anesthesia and vital signs during surgical procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and sterilization of medical equipment and treatment areas
- Support inventory management by ordering supplies and ensuring proper storage
- Educate pet owners on post-treatment care and follow-up requirements

**Skills**
- Proven laboratory experience is highly desirable to efficiently process diagnostic samples
- Strong understanding of animal anatomy, physiology, and common veterinary procedures
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with pet owners and team members
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Compassionate attitude toward animals and their owners
- Ability to work collaboratively within a veterinary team to deliver quality care
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities within the clinic setting

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
