**Responsibilities**
- Support the overall development of residential construction projects from conception to closeout
- Advance the development of Valery Group’s project management practices and establish project procedures
- Prepare, administer, and submit construction project budget estimates, construction schedules, and project timelines, ensuring profitability targets are achieved for all projects
- Support construction activities throughout the project lifecycle including analyzing tender scope, specifications, and drawings
- Act as a project representative at kick-off and project review meetings with subcontractors and vendors
- Manage and direct project teams through communication, coordination, and follow-up
- Obtain permits and licenses from appropriate authorities
- Hire trades and required contractors to facilitate the construction
- Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports including financial and progress reports

**Skills & Qualifications**
- Post-Secondary education in construction management, engineering, architectural or related field combined with experience in the construction industry
- Extensive general trade and industry knowledge
- Fluency in reading and interpreting architectural and engineering plans
- Proficient on computer and software programs such as MS Word, Excel and Project
- Strong knowledge of project management and forecasting tools
- 5-7 years relevant experience managing construction projects of increasing complexity and construction costs of $1,000,000-$20,000,000 in contract value
- Demonstrable experience with permitting agencies in the Greater Golden Horseshoe/GTA
